Getting to Obergurgl

The Oetz Valley is 60 km long. That makes it the longest side valley of the Inn Valley. At a height of 2500 metres, Timmelsjoch is the highest crossing over the main Alpine chain. Obergurgl is located at 1930 meters and is one of the winter sport resorts with the most reliable snow cover in the Alps.

Good rail service to Innsbruck and Ötztal-Bahnhof
4 buses daily from Innsbruck and 8 buses daily from Ötztal-Bahnhof to Obergurgl or Hochgurgl

Get train times (ÖBB)

By air

Frequent flights to Innsbruck, Munich, Salzburg or Zurich.
Then by train to Innsbruck or Ötztal-Bahnhof and by bus to Obergurgl or Hochgurgl.
